May be of interest here, especially if you were eyeing one of their pricier offerings with 20-30% off.

“Between April 8, 2011 and December 15, 2016"
Holy fuck! How are they going to stay in business?
Also I need to go through my credit card history.

I think the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought from harbor freight was my floor jack, and there’s no way I have the receipt for that from 2012-ish.
Edit: This was supposed to be a reply to the main post. Sorry. I’ll share the blame 50/50 with Kinja on this one.

“Customers who have made a purchase within the stated time period but have no have proof of purchase may still submit one declaration, signed under penalty of perjury, stating that they purchased an item from Harbor Freight that was advertised with a higher reference price.”
*ahem*

“one of their pricier offerings”
Wouldn’t that be a bit like buying a 3-piece suit at Kmart? I like Harbor Freight, but I only buy the cheap stuff I can afford to break.

You can use your credit card statements. Just go through them and Ctrl+F “Harbor.” Took me about 30 minutes to go through all my statements over the past three years and file the claim.
The drawback is you only get 10% cashback or a gift card for 12% of what you spent, without the receipts :(

It’ll be like a second tax return!

So is the suit because they didn’t sell it at the higher price for long enough before putting it on sale again? And damn it, I used cash for most of my HF purchases, guess I’ve got some digging.

It would appear I will be going through my credit card statements this weekend.

I don’t even know how much it cost. Not too worried about it; I probably used a coupon anyway
